Hats & More Hats
It is time for another challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow and this week we want you to create vintage or shabby chic cards or other paper-crafted projects that feature Vintage Hats, Shoes & Purses.
When you pop over to check out the challenge make sure you have a look at all the wonderful work of our Design Team and our Guest Designer, Brenda Brown.
This is actually a birthday card that I made for my Sister-in-Law and rather than putting a birthday sentiment on the front, I added a monogram. The inside has a birthday verse.
I started with the background and stencilled some flourishes over some damask paper. The image is a digital one that I changed to sepia in Photoshop, printed and then edged using a Martha Stewart punch set.. The monogram is stamped using Coffee Archival ink. Some flowers that have been inked a bit, an organza bow and some bling complete the card.
I am away this week visiting my lovely friend Shirley in Mississippi so this is a scheduled post. We are crafting, walking, chatting up a storm and just plain hanging out.
