A Sassy Christmas Card

As I have mentioned, I am on a mission to make as many Christmas cards as I can before December. Since I got really carried away with embellishments last year and they ended up forcing the cost of postage through the roof, my cards this year are going to be more clean and simple. That should make my husband a lot happier since he was the one who paid for all that extra postage and had to stand there and put the stamps on each envelope.

This week the challenge at Sassy Cheryl's is to make a tent card so I used this opportunity to use one of her images I had bought some time ago.

I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:

Sassy Cheryl's - Tent Cards
Christmas Cards All Year Long - Anything Goes
Lexi's Creations - No Sentiment
Bah Humbug - Scarves & Mittens

Image:  Santa and Snowman (Sassy Cheryl)
Card Stock:  Green (Wassau)
Papers:  Stripe & Spotted (Sandylion Sticker Designs), Red (Lasting Impressions)
Colouring Medium:  Pencil Crayons (Prismacolors) with OMS (Taltine)
Tools & Embellishments:  Card Candy (Craftwork Cards)

  4. This should do the trick. I only made a few "mass produced" cards last year too and all the cards took at least 2 stamps a piece. I believe I will try your idea. Sounds like a marvelous plan.
This is beautiful I love the coloring and the contrasting DPs.

  7. I will also have to curb my enthusiasm when it comes to this year's cards that have to be posted as Royal Mail definitely benefited last Christmas! I'll probably still be just as extravagant on the ones we hand deliver though lol.
This is a super image which looks great with those lovely papers. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
