Sweet Singing Angel

The challenge this week at Phindy's Place is to create a CLEAN AND SIMPLE card. This is the time of year that schools and churches put on their annual Christmas pageants and there is always an adorable little girl or two dressed up like an angel to sing the Christmas carols. I thought this sweet little angel should shine on her own and used as few embellishments as possible for my card.  Few embellishments is always hard for me but I really must remember to do this more often because I discovered that even a couple of buttons on a card bump the cost of the postage up considerably.  The post office is not particularly kind to us crafters, especially at this time of year - scrooge :)

You don't have to use a Phindy image this week but if you do, follow the instructions under the challenge rules on the sidebar to enter your card twice.  If you don't have a Phindy image, there are many fabulous ones over at the Phindy's Place store, so why not pop over and pick up one or two.

One random winner will win a $5 gift certificate to the Phindy's Place Store. In addition the Design Team will select one entry as Card of the Week. The creator will also receive a $5 gift certificate and will be in the running for our monthly Guest Designer spot.

I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Dutch Dare Card Challenge - Winged Things
Meljens Designs - Use Green
Paper Crafting Journey - Christmas
ABC Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes (must be Christmas)
Divas By Design - Anything Goes
