My Steamer Trunk

I am the hostess for the new two-week challenge at Frilly and Funkie and I chose MY STEAMER TRUNK as the name for this challenge.  The idea is to create a vintage or shabby chic project that depicts what you might pack in your steamer trunk or where you might be taking it.

I had fun making this combo project so come back on Saturday and I will tell you how I did it.  I made a card, a wee hat and tiny hat box.  My card is about what I would pack to go off on my steamer vacation but I did do a bit off stamping on the background to show where I might be taking it.  It looks like I am off to England, France & Italy.  If truth be known I really am heading to England in 2 weeks and was in Italy last year so now I just need to check France off my list.

I used a focal image from Vintage Fan Girl along with products from The Funkie Junkie Boutique, Michaels and Wild Orchid Crafts but as I mentioned I will tell you in more detail on Saturday.

Here are the products that I used from The Funkie Junkie Boutique:

  1. My, my, you are quite the jet-setter! I love your vintage style as always. I will definitely be back to check out all the details. Hugs, Linda

  2. Such beautiful creations Cec! Love the hat and hatbox and all the detail in that card. Hugs, Jenny x

  3. What a fantastic set, Cec! Your card is wonderful - love the image of the ladies and their shoes and gloves, but I'm enthralled with the hat and hat box. Must visit back later to see how they came about! Sensational challenge this week.

  4. Just popped across from Frilly & Funkie to tell you how much I love this set Cec! Apart from the gorgeous card, the hat and hat box are just adorable and I can't wait to hear how you made them. Margie xx

  5. Beautiful card Cec and I LOVE the little hat and the hat box ! Looking forward to seeing you step x step ! Sue C x

  6. Such a sweet, vintage project Cec!! I love the soft antique-y coloring and that hat box and hat...fabulous!!! Great job!! ((hugs)) Rebecca

I love to hear what you think about my work, so please leave me a comment.
