That glorious weather I was talking about a couple of days ago - gone! It is dull and dreary with rain expected so I am crafting all weekend and watching the Brier (the Canadian Men's Curling Championships). Since I worked as Office Manager of a major curling association for 15 years I know some of the competitors, especially the Ontario team who have won their way directly to the final tomorrow. Now you know who I will be cheering for.
Next week I have to look after my grandchildren all day for five days and wouldn't you know they have fevers this weekend. They better get rid of those real fast because this Grandma doesn't want to be sick and you know little kids can be such adorable little cesspools.
The card I made today is going to be entered into the following challenges:
Sassy Cheryl's - Sketch
Colour Create - Mint, Chocolate & Cream
Inky Impressions - Think Green
The image is a generous freebie from Sassy Cheryl and has been coloured with a combination of Prismacolor and Koh-I-Noor pencil crayons. The cardstock is from my stash and Recollections (Michaels). The papers are from Kelly Panacci for Sanylion Sticker Designs, K & Company and one of my own designs (the mint paper with loopy flowers). Other supplies used: Border Punch & Branch Punch (Martha Stewart), Flower Punches (Paper Shapers), Pearl Stickers (Recollections from Michaels, Chalk (Mungyo) and Ribbon (Fabricland).
