Here Comes The Bride

It is time for a new challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow and in keeping with the month of June we are calling it Here Comes The Bride.  We want to see vintage or shabby chic projects with a wedding theme.

I started my card with some white card stock from Staples for the blank.  Next I found some pink paper in my scraps and kicked it up a bit by stenciling a lattice pattern with some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink from Ranger.  Unfortunately the packaging for the stencil is gone and I am not positive who made it and would only be guessing.

The wonderful image of the bride and her bridesmaids came from Victoriana.com.  I mounted the image on top of a paper doily from Wilton.  Next I added a bunch of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and some crystal sprays from Excelsior Wholesale.

The sentiment was made on my computer and inked with more Worn Lipstick DI.  The loopy bow was made from white organza ribbon from Arton Bead Supply and then I added a few pink gems from Dollarama to the background and the bow.

I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:

In The Pink - Shabby Chic/Vintage
Paper Crafting Journey - Perfect in Pink
Make My Monday - Weddings
