Vintage Chef

Welcome to another Sensational Saturday at Sugar Creek Hollow.  This week our challenge to you is to create a MASCULINE card or other paper crafted project.  Father's Day is only a month away so that could be the theme of your vintage, shabby chic or primitive inspired item.  Of course, there are lots of other reasons to make something masculine because birthday cards are always in demand and this time of year graduation cards may also be required. So pull out your retro images, papers and embellishments and let's see what you come up with.

This week our random winner will receive a badge to display on her blog and a digi of our choice.  The Design Team will also choose a Card (or project) of the Week and the creator will receive a badge to display and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.

All of the designers have created some wonderful masculine projects for your inspiration.  To get more details, just click on their name to be taken directly to their blog.

Last week the Design Team reviewed all the April Cards of the Week and chose Heide D. to join us as a Guest Designer this week so please give her a warm welcome.

I found this fun image online and thought it would make a great Father's Day card, especially for my Son-in-Law who owns a BBQ food manufacturing business and restaurant. He makes smoked ribs, pulled pork, smoked brisket and sauces and rubs. He is always developing new recipes and whenever he cooks for us, we eat very, very well.

I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:

4 Crafty Chicks - Brads
Pixie Dust Studio - Vintage
Digi Stamps 4 Joy - Boys/Men
Creative Craft Challenges - Distressed/Vintage

  1. Cec,
This is just so adorable and special to me. My dad was a chef and he wore the checker pants every night to work. The image kind of looks like him too, minus the mustache. I like the tile words. Sad to say he is no longer with us, but you have brought back lots of memories.
