My Rose Garden
My Rose Garden is the name of the next two-week challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow. We want you to make vintage or shabby chic cards or other paper-crafted projects with lots of roses.
Heather Hudson at My Artistic Adventures is sponsoring us this week and all of us on the Design Team have used rose images from her lovely collage sheets.
I started with Staples white card stock for my card blank and used papers from Raspberry Road. The lace is from a bridal supply store and I ran a piece of satin cording through it that has been in my stash for years. I added a few little gems from Michaels for some sparkle.
I used some Worn Lipstick Distress Ink from Ranger on a little frame from the dollar store and added a computer generated sentiment. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the tulle is from Fabricland. I added some pink satin ribbon from my stash and some fibres from EK Success to the rose tag from My Artistic Adventures.
