Inspired By A Photo

This week we have a super challenge for you at Sugar Creek Hollow. We want you to make a vintage, shabby chic or primitive card that is INSPIRED BY A PHOTO. You get to choose the photo and then create your card based on that photo.

Here is the photo that inspired me.

We would love to see your beautiful creations and don't forget to show the photo that inspired you in your blog post along with your card.

One random winner will receive a digi of our choice and a winner's badge to display. In addition, the Design Team will choose one project as Card of the Week and the creator will receive a badge and will be in the running for a Guest Designer spot.

I had so much fun with this card. The bird cage was cut with my Cricut from Kraft card stock and then painted with some gold paint. The bird was also cut with my Cricut.  The frame is two layers cut with a Spellbinders die and then embossed and inked.  The heart was hand cut and then embossed and inked.

I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday - Winged Things
Sarah Hurley Challenges - Die Cuts
Willow Sketchie Challenge - Anything Goes
Paper Pretties - Punches or Die Cuts
The Paper Shelter - Add a Sentiment
Ruby's Rainbow - Vintage
Crafty Blogger's Network - Shabby Chic
Crazy Challenge - Use a Die or Punch

Sentiment:  Create with TLC
Card Stock:  Cream (Staples)
Paper:  Basic Grey
Tools & Embellishments:  Sentimentals Cartridge (Cricut), Antique Gold Paint (Creative Inspirations Paints), Pearls (Recollections), Rusty Hinge & Vintage Photo Distress Ink (Ranger), Fleur de Lis Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Ribbon (Kate's Paperie), Frond Punch (Martha Stewart), Mulberry Roses (Wild Orchid Crafts), Large Peach Two Toned Rose (Excelsior Wholesale), Budding Vine Embossing Folder (Craft Concepts) Victoria Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug)
